"Leconfield"
is a working property of 4600 acres set in the beautiful
hillside
country
on the Mulla Creek area of Northern New South Wales.
This
property has been
in the Skerrett family for nearly one hundred years. Brian
Skerrett, the
current owner, wanted to give people a chance to
experience
life as a Jackaroo
or Jillaroo, so he started a training school. The school
has
been running
since 1983, and has given hundreds of people the
chance to
learn these time
honoured and traditional skills.
